About Anza Books

- Image via Wikipedia
Anza Books is a private children’s book publishing organization established in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A. for the purpose of promoting a love of reading to children and encouraging children to read more often. Anza Books was initiated through the advancement of technology by a UMass Boston Critical and Creative Thinking graduate and her son, a Dartmouth College graduate and creator of www.1007design.com. They published their first book, Adrian’s Mayflower Adventure, authored and illustrated by Maryann Scheufele,MA and registered the story with Writer’s Guild East in 2008.
Anza Books is interested in great American family history stories, and would like to hear from you if you need editing or illustrating help, or if you would like to publish your story. The www.anzabooks.com web site is a resource of information for children learning to read and a tool for any parents concerned about how to read to their children or encourage their children to read more often.
Adrian’s Mayflower Adventure was submitted to The Association for Library Service to Children ALSC for recognition as a contribution to children’s literature.
Anza Books is currently working on Adrian’s next adventure story.
